Projects by Hungerford - Barker College Gymnasium

Hungerford Project Services were employed to refurbish, entend and modify the Barker Gymnasium. Work was required to be undertaken during the Christmas holiday period and be completed prior to the start of term one. The works required all internal finish trades, modification & improvements to the existing services and acoustic wall installation.

The works included:

• Stripout and removal of the existing fitout
• Increase the area of the gym by extending the brick and glass facade
• New acoustic partition walls to create 4 class rooms, gym, weight room and staff offices
• Re-use of existing doors and operable wall
• New carpet, vinyl and special rubber gym floor
• Upgrading of mechanical and electrical services
